ROCKY START consists of a Trio. Joe Serrato (Guitar & Vocals), Bob Steinberg (Guitar & Vocals), and Peter Baker (Drummer & Vocals). They provide outstanding Club/Dance Music and are adaptable to virtually any size room. ROCKY START is a dynamic trio that has been performing at dance clubs in the Desert area as well as Orange County area. They are considered to be one of the hottest bands around. ROCKY START creates a sound that is unsurpassed by any of their previous ventures. The group's repertoire ranges from today's Modern & Classic Rock, Oldies, Disco to Southern and Country Rock, Ballads, Blues, Funk and Rhythm & Blues. This wide variety of styles is great for all types of Social Events, such as: Night Clubs, Lounges, Concerts, Corporate Functions, Private Functions, Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Etc. PETER BAKER, grew up in Orange County, CA. Peter has been in the Palm Springs area for the past 12 years. Peter started playing at the age of 8 and was singing at the age of 14. Peter brings years of experience in live performance and recording. Peter has performed in Southern California with primarily club bands at many top dance clubs in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Anaheim. Peter also appeared at Theme Parks such as Disneyland, Six Flags, Marriott's Great America, Disneyworld and State Fairs across America while on the road with Willie Aames and Paradise. BOB STEINBERG, moved from New York to Coachella Valley. Bob has been practicing Internal Medicine/Integrative Medicine for the past 25 years. In High School he played in various bands. Bob has played with many Independent Musicians in and out of the Coachella Valley in the form of Jam Sessions and casual get-togethers and as a substitute with more established bands. He is known locally as the "Rokndok".
