HOME: private downstairs guest quarters (1/3 living space of home) of 2-story home on 2.5 fenced acres near the border of Joshua Tree National Park at 3250' elevation. There are amazing views of the valley below and surrounding mountains, with minimal light pollution at night. The entire star-filled sky is always visible. The guest quarters has a private entrance and is totally separate from the rest of the home. It's furnished (king size bed, desk and chair, etc). It has a large private bathroom with a huge soaking tub and a floor-to-ceiling wall of built-in book shelves separating the room from a walk-in closet. There is a hanging day bed right outside the door under the back balcony and a private outdoor shower (w/hot water). The 3 acre property features an outdoor recreation area with two decks--one with a full kitchen and dining area, the other a sunbathing/fire pit deck. A privacy wall encloses the rear of the home with a lap pool coming soon. Water, gas, electricity, 500 Mbps Wi-Fi, phone and trash collection are all included. It's very modern, private, clean and quiet.

YOU: Trustworthy, non-smoker, with no drug involvement--selling, using or otherwise--and no abusive or self-destructive level alcohol consumption. Your age, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic background, religion (or lack thereof) are all of absolutely zero concern to me, but you must have ID, good credit history, references, and either a stable career with sufficient income or enough verifiable wealth to afford the rent with ease. I love animals, but I cannot allow any to live on the property.

ME: I reside upstairs when home, which is roughly 2-3 months collectively each year. I'm basically away from home year-round working music festivals and other events. When I am home, I'm quiet and easy-going. My lifestyle centers around travel, nature and healthy living. I hike when I have the time, write a little and have endless hands-on DIY home and auto projects.
