For Sale is a 15' Sears and Roebuck Aluminum Canoe with a flat back for mounting a motor. $480. Minor scratches and a minor ding, but in very good shape. Holds water well. Minor professional repair above the water line. Model number 61006. I don't know the exact manufacture date, but there is no Hull Number which was required after 1971 and similar model numbers were manufactured in the late 60's. I am not 100% sure but this model number was likely manufactured by Alumacraft for Sears based on the seats, the rigging attachments and the relatively thick aluminum. Rated for maximum of 4 people or 660lbs. 745 with gear. Rated for a 5HP motor, not included.
Great for fishing, trolling, motoring about, or paddling around a lake or bay. Perfect for Big Bear or Lake Meade/Havasu. Square stern are hard to come by used aluminum canoes sell new for over $2,000 as they are very durable - don't crack like fiberglass - and light weight. This would be manageable with one person if a truck bed or on a trailer - guessing about 70 lbs - but you'd want two people to get it on a roof rack. I can help you load it, but you'll want to bring tie-downs.
