Pop Art Peter Max Psychedelic Butterfly Plate Platter Dish - Set 2
This listing is for a very colorful set of 2 dinner plates or platters designed by the noted Peter Max for Iroquois China. The pattern is called "Butterfly," and features a psychedelic brown butterfly design with pink, orange, and blue flowers on the wings and in the center. In blue, below the butterfly, is the name "Peter Max." It's really a "groovy" collection of psychedelic '60s china!
This is a great vintage set made (according to the replacements site) between 1967 and 1970. Each plate measures 10 inches wide across the rim. They are in EXCELLENT condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. They appear unused!
The foot (bottom) shows firing marks original to manufacture. Each plate is marked "Genuine China | by | Iroquois | Syracuse, N. Y.
