*RARE* MYER 1890 DATED BEVERAGES BOTTLE OPENER - $55 (Palm Springs)

Offered for your consideration is this extremely rare Myer 1890 Dated Beverages bottle opener. I do not know exactly how old this bottle opener is but I have had it in my possession for the past 50 years and it was at my parents’ home before that. I believe that Myers 1890 Dated Beverage went out of business in 1982. The bottle opener is about 4 1/4 inches long end-to-end.
The handle appears to be Bakelite but may be some other sort of plastic.
The bottle opener shows normal age wear as seen in the attached pictures and as can be expected but is otherwise in great condition and appears to still be usable should you choose to do so.
This would make a great item for anyone who collects antique bottle openers, vintage bar memorabilia or - on the outside chance someone is a collector specifically of Myer 1890 Dated Beverage items.
I think you would be hard-pressed to find another one of these as I could not find another one currently for sale anywhere online.
