Rare and harder-to-find Osmond family singers program

Okay all of you Osmond Brothers, Osmond Family and Donny & Marie Osmond fans - offered for your consideration here is a very rare program from the Osmond’s first appearance at the Superstar Theatre in the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. Their concert took place July 12 - Aug 2, 1974. The program measures approx 11 inches long by approx 7 1/2 inches wide and features Donny and Marie along with brothers Jimmy, Alan, Wayne, Jay and Merrill on the cover. Each photo is accompanied by a facsimile autograph. Inside the program reads “Alan Lee presents The Osmonds Show Featuring Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie and Jimmy. Kelly Monteith.” It then goes on to list the producers, musical director, writers, crew, costume designer, etc. The right side of the program is a drinks menu. The rear of the program is set up as a mailer (it even says in small print at the bottom “This program suitable for mailing - 10c stamp required). The return address is “Las Vegas Tropicana - Where the good life begins.”

This wonderful piece of Osmonds memorabilia is harder-to-find. At the time of this posting I can find no other for sale on ebay or elsewhere on line. This is a terrific collectible for Donny & Marie Osmond fans, fans of the Osmonds, people who collect old concert programs, or collectors of Las Vegas or Tropicana Hotel memorabilia (hey - I’m trying real hard here folks! ;-)

From an Osmond fan website: “July 12- August 2, 1974: The Osmonds made their first appearance at the Tropicana Hotel for a three-week engagement. They won “Show of the Year.” Songs included Havin’ a Party, The Girl I Love, Cant Get Next To You, -L-O-V-E, Moon River, Donny medley (Go Away Little Girl-Sweet and Innocent-Puppy Love), 50’s, You Are the Sunshine of my Life, Stevie Wonder Medley, One Bad Apple, Down By the Lazy River, Crazy Horses, Yo Yo, Love Me For A Reason, Paper Roses, I’m Leavin’ It All Up To You, Dixieland Band, Good Ole Mammy Song, Merrill’s banjo, Singing In the Rain, Hoe Down, God Bless You, and You Make Me Feel Brand New.”

Program is in very good condition with no rips, holes, or stains
