Struck in 90% silver at the Philadelphia Mint, the 1942 Mercury dime is a beautiful and precious keepsake of America during the Second World War. The U.S. Navy experienced success against the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1942, in the Coral Sea and at Midway Island. American forces under the command of General Dwight Eisenhower seized control of French North Africa. And Germany`s Field Marshal Rommel fled to Libya, after defeats by British forces in Egypt.
One 1942 P Mercury Dime coin, in Fine condition. It’s been in circulation. Features are crisp and clear. There are no nicks or scratches.
