Studio Photographer Assistant – Technical Imaging & Art Handling (Palm Springs)

Responsibilities:
• Assist with tethered capture, digital imaging workflows, and advanced lighting and color management
• Handle artwork with care, including unframing, mounting, and documenting
• Manage studio logistics, setups, and equipment readiness
• Perform sole heavy lifting of crates, frames, and gear
• Safely work on ladders during installations and adjustments
• Follow complex workflows under deadline-driven conditions
Requirements:
• Strong working knowledge of cameras, continuous lighting, Adobe Lightroom, and Photoshop
• Familiarity with advanced color management and ICC workflow fundamentals
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at height when needed
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to precision
• Interest in the visual arts and willingness to learn advanced technical processes
• Reliability and ability to execute deadline-critical deliverables
