About the Program
Join 29 Dine’s Harvest & Thrive After School Enrichment Program, an engaging, hands-on experience that teaches kids (TK-6) about culinary arts, nutrition education, and sustainable agriculture. We’re looking for passionate educators who love to inspire creativity, teamwork, and healthy habits through fun, interactive learning.
What You’ll Do
- Teach hands-on lessons in cooking, gardening, and food awareness aligned with California State Standards.
- Create a safe, supportive, and fun classroom environment.
- Encourage teamwork, curiosity, and confidence through social-emotional learning (SEL).
- Track progress with student reflections and skills-based activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and ELOP assistants to deliver a cohesive program.
- Mentor classroom assistants to ensure every student thrives.
What We’re Looking For
- Teaching experience with grades TK-6 (preferred).
- Background in culinary arts, nutrition, or sustainable agriculture (strong plus).
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Enthusiasm for wellness, creativity, and experiential education.
- Familiarity with California State Standards in Health Ed, Science, and ELA is a plus.
