Maybe a great opportunity for someone. Both Sony ES units were professionally installed in a very high-end media room at my other home, which was sold. New buyer did not want to value all the audio video equipment ($70,000), he wanted it for free, so we agreed to remove it to close the deal. It was a great system, and these Sony ES pieces were part of it and were working and then shrink wrapped and stored.

I have no use for them so finally unwrapped and tested. I am not a tech but plugged in the receiver and it seems to function fine, but I don’t have the correct speaker set up or speaker cables to fully test. Remotes that came with units are there, but I never used them so expect them to work. The CD/DVD player played a regular DVD no problem, but when I put a Blue-ray in it said disc no recognized. Not sure what’s up, maybe needs a clean but wanted to make sure I noted it.
