There are 3 current versions of this shirt. In the initial version there were 12 stripes alternating blue and white, with the fourth stripe being red for Judah. The eleventh stripe is divided in 2 for Joseph and his 2 sons Ephraim and Manasseh. The second version has only one difference. The twelfth stripe is now pink for Benjamin, the twelfth son of Jacob, due to the Benjaminite's engagement in homosexual activity, as described in the Biblical book of Judges, which led to civil war within ancient Israel.
The third version has all the stripes multi-colored, attempting to reflect the color of the birthstone for each of the 12 tribes of Israel. This shirt and all the others are currently being offered for the very low discount price of just $18 each or 2 for $35. These latest version shirts are not American Apparel as most of the first 2 versions are with some of those being Hanes shirts.

Most shirts also have matching colored fringes around the whole hem of each shirt, with 4 blue fringes, 1 in the front, 1 in the back, 1 on each side. See the Biblical book of Numbers 15:37-41 for a more precise explanation.
