This is a beautiful very hi-end piece of furniture by Auffray & Co. We can trace the company to the late 19th century in France. The company set up in New York in the early 1940's. To my knowledge the production continued to be in France. This beautiful three drawer chest can be used anywhere in your home. Furniture with drawers are wonderful pieces in their versatility. This cabinet is most likely hand carved. There is a 1/2" glass on top protecting the top of this beautiful cabinet. It has kept the top in fantastic condition. I am the original owner of this Auffray piece.
