This is a brand new Lenox For The Holidays "Winter Greetings Everyday" Large Holiday Birdhouse Votive Candleholder by artist Catherine McClung, part of Lenox's Winter Greetings metal toleware collection which was discontinued in 2011. This lovely hand-painted and elaborately decorated toleware birdhouse is adorned by two raised/dimensional Cardinal birds and two Chickadee birds -- one on each side -- that are perched within a collection of colorful Christmas holly and pinecones. The front of the birdhouse has a locking hinged door which allows placement of a traditional tea light/votive candle or a more modern soot-free battery powered light (which will avoid wax drippings and maintain this collectible's pristine condition). Dimensions are 5" Wide x 5.25" Deep x 10" High, with an all-metal weight of 2 pounds. Included is the original retail box and descriptive Lenox hang tag with its $72.00 suggested retail price sticker. Lenox also sold these holiday-themed birdhouses in a smaller 7" version, but this is the harder to find larger 10" model which usually sells online for $55.00. All photos were taken by me in my smoke-free home and honestly represent the brand new condition of this beautiful limited edition Lenox holiday birdhouse candleholder.
