As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our apartment community running smoothly. You’ll handle a variety of maintenance requests, perform preventative upkeep, and ensure that all units and common areas are safe, functional, and attractive.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on apartment units and common areas
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
Perform carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor renovations as needed
Maintain landscaping and curb appeal (as applicable)
Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
Communicate effectively with residents, management, and vendors
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus)
2+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in multifamily housing)
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
