Summary:
Seeking a reliable, hardworking Houseman to support resort housekeeping operations. The Houseman will assist with cleaning, room setup, laundry support, public-area maintenance and guest requests to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming guest experience.
Key responsibilities:
Clean and prepare guest rooms: make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, restock amenities.
Maintain public areas: lobbies, corridors, restrooms, pool decks, and back-of-house areas—sweep, mop, wipe surfaces, remove trash.
Assist with laundry operations: transport linens, sort, fold, and deliver clean laundry as needed.
Move and set up furniture, beds, and equipment for guest requests or events.
Report and tag damaged items, maintenance issues, or safety hazards; escalate urgent repairs.
Follow resort cleaning standards, SOPs, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping.
Support inventory control: count, store, and request housekeeping supplies and amenities.
Assist with deep-cleaning projects and seasonal turnover tasks.
Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred
Physical ability to stand, lift (up to 30–50 lbs), bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Basic English for guest interaction; additional languages a plus.
Attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and good time management.
Comfortable using cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor scrubber) and chemicals; willingness to follow safety instructions.
Working conditions & schedule:
Full-time and part-time positions available; shift work including weekends and holidays.
Fast-paced, physically active environment; may be outdoors (pool, gardens) and exposed to cleaning agents.
