Beautiful, almost pristine condition, well maintained, senior owned and very comfortable touring bike.

Ready for your next great adventure... or great act of defiance! It has been serviced at Palm Springs Motorsports and at the dealership in Burlington Washington.
It is in almost pristine condition other than the small scratch on the right front side of the fender. Oh yah and the big bullet holes which lucily are just stickers! It looks, sounds and rides like it did when new!
The belt drive is always my favorite for low maintenance, less weight, more power to the wheel and a better feel.
The 1900cc pushrod motor is a work of art that ads to the nostalgic look, beastly sound, lower ceter of gravity and better riding experience.
The upgraded Mustang Seat looks great and is more comfortable. It also has the spare taller passenger back rest chrome bar included and the upgraded biger floor boards.
All else is factory stock Yamaha.
The Genuine Yamaha locking bags come on and off easily with internal clips.
The rear tire has 80% existing tread life and front has about 70%.
The odometer reads 42,247 miles which is very low for a big touring bike like this.
As pictured it comes with the owners books, taller back bar, hand brake lock and spare keys.
In 1982Yamaha was the first Japan company to intoroduce the V-Twin motorcycle engine.
I remember taking some of the 1982 Virago 750's new out of the box for Palm Springs Yamaha back then. I have full time and hands on serviced and watched these bikes evolve over the years. I am quite fond of these Yamaha cruiser and touring bikes.
The styling, performance and quality of this Stratoliner is remarkable!

TITLE AND REGISTRATION:
We have the clear title as shown in the last picture.

If you live in California then I will title it in your name with a new Ca. title.

I am licensed and bonded with the California DMV as a dealer.

If you are in California then I will also collect the tax of about 7.75% (depending on your City rate) plus a documentation processing charge of $80.00. Plus the standard DMV registration transfer and title fee which will be $251.00

My buyers (you) never pay registration penalties.
There are no hidden or tack on mystery fees ever!

I will give you a temporary registration permit on the spot and your new documents will come to you in the mail.

If you are outside of California and you ship by common carrier then you will pay only the purchase price and I will hand you or mail you the title. I must have a copy of the shipping contract from the driver when picked up or a bill of lading.

Without proof of shipment via common carrier I would still need to collect the sales tax.

Your state should give you an exemption so you will not pay sales tax twice.

PAYMENT: We prefer cash in person or a bank wire transfer. We do accept any form of paper note but it must take a full 10 days to clear my account before you take delivery. We prefer that you come test ride before leaving a deposit but if you feel confident enough then you can leave a $200.00 non-refundable deposit via credit card or bank wire to hold your bike for up to 5 business days.

Once paid in full you can leave it here fully insured for up to 30 more days at no cost. This will give you plenty of time to arrange shipping or pick up.

I do not accept credit card payments on bike sales only for the deposit.

SHIPPING: If you are less than 150 miles away then I am willing to deliver on a case by case pre-paid agreement.
If you are more than 150 miles away my customers have used many different competitively priced door to door shipping services. No crating ever needed.

HaulBikes.com has picked up many bikes from my shop. A simple Google search for "motorcycle shipping" will bring up lots of options. Depending on the size and distance shipping might cost anywhere from $350.00 to $1,250.00.

Please make your own arrangements and then give your company my phone number and address. Sam's Cycle Service Inc. 34-044 Bob Hope Dr. Rancho Mirage Ca. 92270 Phone 760-343-3131.
