The clutch disc must be centered to the flywheel to allow easy installation of the transmission after clutch service. DT-49267 is placed through the clutch disc and into the pilot bearing in the crankshaft to center the disc. The clutch cover can then be installed and torqued per published service information. Once the cover is installed, DT-49267 is removed, and the transmission is installed. The clutch disc must be centered to the flywheel to allow easy installation of the transmission after clutch service. Once the cover is installed, DT-49267 is removed, and the transmission is installed.
