About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Community Manager to oversee daily operations at our well-established 55+ community in Indio, CA. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a residential management environment and enjoys working closely with residents to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-run community.
This role begins as a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent after a successful 90-day evaluation period. Following that period, the selected candidate will be required to live on-site, with fully compensated housing and a monthly utility credit provided.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the community, including resident relations, vendor coordination, and maintenance oversight.
Enforce community rules and regulations with professionalism and tact.
Manage leasing, rent collection, and financial reporting.
Coordinate resident communications and community events.
Supervise maintenance staff and ensure property standards are upheld.
Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and local/state regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in property or community management (manufactured housing or 55+ community experience strongly preferred).
Proven leadership and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Computer proficiency (property management software experience a plus).
Ability to live on-site after 90 days (housing provided).
Professional, courteous, and resident-focused demeanor.
