Reiner Technical Services (RTS) is an independent business performing civil engineering support services for licensed civil engineers. I established RTS to operate remotely to provide civil engineering project engineering and management services to professional civil engineers and their companies. At RTS, I am the only one providing services and have established myself as a business with civil engineers in a professional atmosphere. By being remote and not physically part of your office footprint you can utilize RTS to meet deadlines and keep your clients happy while you work on other aspects of your business and with your other clients. I can interface with any aspect of your company from directing designers to proofing reports to liaising with certain agencies on your project's behalf.
RTS is a true full-time business for me and I am not a moonlighting engineer with a day job. Prior to RTS I worked as a project engineer in San Diego County since graduating from SDSU in 1999. Here is a little more about me for your quick reference:
- I graduated from SDSU in the Fall of 1999 with a BS in Civil Engineering with a minor in Technical Writing.
- I am a California EIT and have passed the California PE 8-Hour, Survey, and Take Home Sections.
- I have served on multiple Agency Technical Advisory Committees throughout Southern California, most notably the County of San Diego Flood Control Technical Advisory Committee to revise the Current Drainage Design Manual (named in acknowledgements) and Hydrology Manuals.

Side note: As an individual contractor working remotely I perform my tasks using my own equipment and software. I can also use various types of networking software and screen sharing software to stay in contact with my clients and assist in real-time direction and coordination.
