Removable battery specific floats are used to ensure that the water level in each cell is maintained according to the battery design and the manufacturers specifications. The floats can be purchased from BFS or several aftermarket distributors. I have hooked all of my systems up to a plastic automotive windshield washer reservoir. Press a button, or flip a switch, and in a few seconds (less than the time it would take to remove the caps) the tank's pump fills each cell until the white cap pops up shutting off the flow filling each cell to the correct water level. The rubber hose or plastic tubing connecting each cap can be cut to any length to accommodate various battery designs - AND - the system can be removed and installed on your next vehicle or set of batteries.
This set comes with twenty four caps (P/N 51000) and # 34 floats (P/N 072234), which fits ALL of the batteries on the attached list.
